The Andover Thrift & Gift Shop is adding a new collection of “white elephant” items to the shop this year, starting in February. The shop committee will be presenting an assortment of new and “like new” items for use in your home and garden. You’ll be sure to find what you need, from the handy and practical, to the appealing treasure you just can’t pass up. Come by and take a look, and while there you can also peruse the large variety of quality new and gently used clothing and accessories for the whole family at budget conscious pricing.
In February, men save 50 percent on all clothing and accessories. Men’s inventory includes casual and business attire and outerwear in all sizes. In addition, because we know how quickly kids go through clothes, we have priced all children’s clothing at just $1 for the entire year. Kids items include play and dress clothes, and outerwear for newborn and up.
The shop is thrilled to invite local artisans back again this year to showcase their handcrafted items. Don’t forget your sweetheart for Valentine’s Day on Wednesday, February 14. Creations by Cheryl includes sparkling jewelry, scarves, utility cord bracelets for the outdoors person on your Valentine’s list, handcrafted walking sticks, and home décor. In addition, Cardigan Mountain Soapworks has a nice collection of beautifully wrapped all-natural soaps, lotions, and gift sets.
The nonprofit Andover Thrift & Gift Shop is part of the Andover Service Club, which has provided community service to Andover and surrounding communities for over 50 years. Your shop purchase supports your community.
The shop is located beside the Andover Elementary/Middle School at 26 School Street, Andover. Hours of operation are Tuesday through Thursday, 10 AM to 4 PM, and Saturday 10 AM to 2 PM. At this time, the shop will accept clean, in-season clothing, jewelry, and accessories, as donation or consignment, with a two kitchen-size bag limit. Thank you for your continued support of our non-profit!
