Tuesday, February 6 from 4-7 PM: Open House at the William A. Bachelder Library (WABL)
Come see all the William A. Bachelder Library has to offer! We’ll have information about downloadable audiobooks and ebooks, our Library of Things, our new downstairs play space, and more. Refreshments will be served. The Bachelder Library is located at 12 Chase Hill Road.
Wednesday, February 7 and 21 at 7 PM: “Read What You Want” Book Club at the Andover Public Library (APL)
Calling all readers! Bring your current book along for 30 minutes of silent reading, snacks, and bookish discussion. This is a great way to meet other readers in the community and get book suggestions.
Tuesday, February 13: Love At First Page: Book “Speed Dating” at WABL
Instead of searching for love, we’ll be “dating” books! Bring one of your favorite stories to share with others and we’ll give you a notepad to write down all the books you meet that you’re adding to your TBR (to-be-read). Refreshments will be served. Wednesday, February 21-Thursday, February 22: Stuffed Animal Sleepover at APL
Ever wondered what adventures your child’s stuffed animals get up to when everyone is asleep? Drop off their cuddly companions on February 21 and let them embark on a library sleepover adventure. You can drop them off at our 10 AM Story Time, our special 6 PM Pajama Story Time, or any time during our regular hours (9-12 and 2-7). Reunite with your stuffie on Thursday, February 22 to see photos and hear tales of all their antics.
February Vacation Week
Check our Facebook page and website for information about our offerings during the February vacation! We’ll be having a Playmobil Party, Giant Games Afternoon, and more.
Story Times
We continue to host story time at both libraries weekly. WABL has story time on Tuesdays at 10 AM and APL has story time and a craft Wednesdays at 10 AM.
