The prevalence and management of black bears in New Hampshire will be the focus of a presentation on Thursday, March 7, at 7 PM, at The Andover Community Hub. Educating the audience about black bears in our area will be Carrie Carbonneau, volunteer Fish and Wildlife Steward with the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department.
An engaging speaker, Carbonneau will share information about the black bear’s natural history, current research, and management practices in the state. The presentation will also include information about the federal Wildlife and Sport Fish Restoration programs that support important fish and game projects in the state, to increase our awareness and knowledge of bears and other wildlife.
The program is open to all, free of charge, although donations are always welcome to support The Hub. For further information, contact TheAndoverHub@nullgmail.com or 603 735-5509.
