Hearse House Museum Open Saturdays 1–3 PM

Press release
Happy Fourth of July to all! Let us celebrate the freedoms we enjoy in this country.

The Salisbury Historical Society’s annual July barbecue, scheduled for July 16, has been canceled. We do not have enough volunteers to help set up, do the grilling, organize the sides, clean up, and prepare for the business meeting that follows.

Members agreed that although we enjoy meeting the many residents who attend, very few join our Society and become active participants. Perhaps we will resume this tradition in future.

There will be a business meeting on July 16 in the Meeting House. There will be no August meeting because we will all be busy with Old Home Day on the weekend of August 9–11.

The Hearse House Museum is open each Saturday, from 1–3 PM. We erroneously reported that the Farmers’ Market was open Saturday afternoons, from 3–6 PM. It is open those hours on Mondays, not Saturdays.

The Salisbury Free Library is open Saturdays, from 10 AM–3PM. Find out more about us at salisburyhistoricalsociety.org.
