Kearsarge Neighborhood Partners (KNP) is a nonprofit dedicated to building a community where neighbors help each other flourish. We collaborate with over 40 community partners serving 10 towns in the Kearsarge region, matching the needs of neighbors with committed volunteers who can help in short-term or longer-term situations.
Thanks to all who donated through New Hampshire Gives on June 11 and 12, joining with good folks in New Hampshire and beyond, to bring KNP’s 24-hour giving total to $27,173. We appreciate your giving back to the nonprofits that provide so much throughout the Granite State every single day!
Good food and drink + good company = a great evening, and that’s just what we had on June
28 for KNP’s Summer Gathering. It was very special for 100 of our volunteers, donors, and
community partners to be together for a few hours on a beautiful Friday night at the Phillips Barn
at the New London Historical Society. We literally could not do what we do without all of you,
and we very much enjoyed our time together, sharing a bit about where KNP is heading in the
coming year and appreciating all those who make up Team KNP!
Many thanks to The Refinery, Hungry Hearts Gym + Kitchen, Hannaford, and the Appleseed Restaurant for their donations of food, and to all our makers and bakers for the yummy treats.
Kudos to all who volunteered and/or funded a tray of vegetable seedlings! Each of Tray It
Forward’s sponsoring organizations contributes so much to the TIF program, and we are
honored to be part of such an important community collaboration.
But it could not happen without the KNP volunteers who bag compost, transplant seedlings, and deliver trays, or without the community members who sponsor a tray or two so that our neighbors can receive garden seedlings free of charge. It takes a village and we have a pretty special one!
KNP and Kearsarge Climate Action are partnering on a second annual WindowDressers
community build at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church during the week of November 14–20. The build will provide 250 low-cost insulated custom storm window inserts, keeping area homes
warmer, saving heating costs, and lowering CO2 emissions.
The community can volunteer at the website below to assemble frames for a four-hour stint anytime during the build week, to be a shift supervisor, to greet, bring food, or to provide transportation. All training is provided, and we guarantee you will enjoy being part of this well-organized window building process! Kearsarge NH 2024 CB — Signup Sheet | SignUp.com
