Summer fun continues at our Andover Libraries throughout the month of August, with a variety of programs for all ages and interests.
Thursday, August 1, at 10 AM, at the Andover Public Library (APL): Squid Dissection with the UNH Marine Docents.

Come learn about squids and participate in a squid dissection with marine docents from UNH! This presentation is best for people in 4th grade and above. You must email the librarian at andovernhlibraries@nullgmail.com to register for this event.

Wednesday, August 7, at 7 PM at APL: “Read What You Want” Silent Book Club
Want to meet other readers in our community? Bring whatever you’re reading to our silent book club. We’ll read for 30-45 minutes, eat snacks, and have some bookish discussion.

Tuesday, August 13, from 9-12 PM and 4-7 PM at W.A. Bachelder Library (WABL): Cardboard Structure Building. Use our new Makedo Cardboard Construction Kits to build forts, vehicles, houses, and more- all out of cardboard! Makedo kits make cutting cardboard safe for all ages.

Wednesday, August 14, at 10 AM at APL: Tales and Trails Family Hike

Wednesday, August 21, at 6 PM at APL: Let’s Get Ready for Kindergarten
Come meet your classmates and have dinner with us before Kindergarten begins! This event is open to any child attending Kindergarten at AE/MS for the 2024-2025 school year and their families. Please register by emailing andovernhlibraries@nullgmail.com so that we can make sure we have enough food for everyone.

Thursday, August 22, at 6 PM, at APL: Back to School Bingo
