SALLY GEORGE passed peacefully surrounded by her family at Merrimack County Nursing Home, on October 23, 2024, at the age of 61. Sally was born in Franklin, NH to Howard and Eleanor George of Andover. Sally grew up in Andover & lived in Danbury for many years later on in her life. Sally attended Proctor Academy and then Merrimack Valley High School, which she graduated from. Sally worked at Rivco in Boscawen for many years in the early years of her life. Sally also worked at Hannaford in Franklin & New London for half of her life. Sally’s last place of employment was at Freudenberg in Bristol for many years.

Throughout Sally’s life she did a lot of things, but nothing beat being a mother.  Sally especially enjoyed being a grandmother, to Lyndsey, Christyna Lee & Jack Connor.  She loved and adored her children Jeffrey & Jennifer. She could be seen at Jeffrey’s (& now Jack) motocross events every weekend. She loved making breakfast sandwiches for all of us kids. Sally will be FOREVER missed & loved by everyone she came in contact with. She was like a mom to many throughout her life, not just her own children and grandchildren. Sally loved skiing and spent many early mornings on the ski hills & keeping score for Jennifer’s basketball and softball games any chance she could.

Sally was predeceased by her loving father Howard George who meant the world to her, & her grandparents Rodney & Mary Smith and Bill & Grace George of Andover.

Sally’s surviving family members include her mother Eleanor George of Andover and Sally’s two children & their spouses Jeffrey & Melissa Connor of Wilmot, NH. & Jennifer Connor & Richy. Her grandchildren Lyndsey Lee, Christyna Lee, Jack Connor, Caleb & Cameron. She loves Makayla & Liam, Colton & Jax as her own grandkids too.

Sally leaves behind a brother Garry with his wife Lynn George, with their children Cory & Jessica with their children, whom she loved and treated as her own grandchildren. Sally is also survived by many aunts, uncles & cousins, Connie & Janet, Rosalie, Michael, John & Kelly George.

She leaves behind a LIFELONG friend Alicia, whom she loved so much and enjoyed many moments with throughout her whole life. Alicia had many wonderful visits with her & we are forever grateful and thankful for her friendship with our mom.
