Press Release

WILMOT — If you’re looking for a handmade item to give as a Christmas gift, the Wilmot Community Association’s (WCA) Holiday Craft Fair is the perfect place to start. Admission is free. Featuring more than 40 local artists, this annual event will be held from 9 AM to 2 PM,  Saturday, December  7, at the New London Outing Club’s Indoor Center, 114 Cougar Court, New London.

Vendors will sell a variety of handcrafted items and products, including holiday ornaments, pottery, wooden spoons, jewelry, beeswax candles, honey, jams and jellies, and much, much more. Rachel’s Café will sell food and beverages throughout the day.

The WCA will host their annual Cookie Walk. “Last year the Cookie Walk was so popular, it sold out by 11 AM,” said Meg Dugan, WCA executive director. “This year we hope to have an even wider selection of cookies.”

If you would like to bake cookies, volunteer at the Holiday Craft Fair, or learn more about the WCA, please contact us by email at wca@nullwilmotwca.org or 603 526-7934. The WCA’s office at 64 Village Road, Wilmot, is open 9 AM to 3 PM on Fridays.

The WCA needs volunteers to staff this event. Note to students: volunteering for the WCA counts toward your community service hours.
