$15,000 given for student health and financial needs

ANDOVER — The relationship between Proctor Academy and Andover Elementary/Middle School is special, and promoting that relationship has been an honor for Proctor over the years. Proctor is fortunate to have opportunities to contribute to the community in ways that advance and strengthen that relationship.

In November, Proctor shared with AE/MS Principal George it would be providing a gift of $15,000 to Andover Elementary/Middle School, with $10,000 intended to be used for student health programs, including drug prevention and mental health. The remaining $5,000 was directed toward the fund managed by AE/MS to support the financial needs of families specific to housing, food, utilities, and heating expenses.

This gift reflects both Proctor’s appreciation of the fine work of AE/MS and of the interconnected relationship of Proctor, the Town of Andover, Andover Elementary/Middle School, and all those individuals who make up our shared community.
