Chills and thrills on October 4

By Janet Moore, Andover Libraries Trustee

Get ready for some big doings at the Andover Libraries in October!

On Friday, October 4, at 7 PM, Rita Parisi of Waterfall Productions will present A Gothic Tale, a storytelling performance of Halloween chills and thrills. Ms. Parisi will entertain the crowd with a story of her choosing, appropriate for ages 10 and beyond. The Bachelder Library will host this event, with creepy cookies and dastardly drinks for all!

On Monday, October 21, again at 7 PM, AE/MS will host an information session on the upcoming changes in health care and insurance as mandated by the Affordable Care Act. This program, sponsored by the Andover Libraries and the Andover Democrats, will provide attendees with information about available insurance options and programs and the registration process. Donna Toomey, a health care information specialist from Lakes Region General Hospital, will be the presenter.

These programs are brought to you by your Andover Libraries, where the librarians are mighty, the books are weighty, and the patrons are all above average.
