The 71-acre Phillips Preserve Easement was added on June 17, to the properties protected by Ausbon Sargent Land Preservation Trust (ASLPT). We invite you to celebrate the signing of this property as ASLPT and the New London Conservation Commission (NLCC) co-host a commemorative event. Not only will we celebrate the conservation easement, but the fact that the property had been enrolled and accepted into the American Tree Farm System.

On Wednesday, October 23 at 10 AM, short remarks of about 15 minutes will be offered by Bob Brown (NLCC), Debbie Stanley (ASLPT), and Leo Maslan (a licensed forester) in front of the Phillips Preserve sign on Goose Hole Road.

For those who are interested, following the remarks Andy Deegan will lead a moderate hike on the property with the assistance of Leo Maslan, Bob Brown, and members of the NLCC.
