I began my professional career as a teacher, passing on the gift of a quality education to the next generation at the very same high school in Littleton I graduated from myself. Outside of public life, I hold one of the fastest times ever for a New Hampshire resident in the Boston Marathon. Over my 17 years as a Grafton County Commissioner, I’ve demonstrated that I’m no ideologue; I’m a bipartisan centrist who wants to get things done.
As your executive councilor I will:
- Provide strong constituent services for District 1
- Oppose Northern Pass unless it is buried
- Invest in our economy
- Strengthen our schools
- Protect our taxpayers and the middle class
- Fight for working families
- Oppose a state sales or income tax
I am deeply honored to have been endorsed by the late Ray Burton’s family. His death was a huge loss for northern New Hampshire. For nearly 35 years, he dedicated his life to District 1, and for 16 years Ray and I worked side-by-side as Grafton County Commissioners helping folks with their problems and serving as strong advocates for northern New Hampshire.
My focus will always be protecting taxpayers and fighting for working families. I promise to push a pro-growth, low-tax, pro-business agenda that will help to jump-start our local economy and produce good paying jobs that will stay in the region.
I will be visiting communities all across the district between now and March 11, and I look forward to earning your vote.
