One of the most important organs in the body is the adrenal gland. Not many people know what it is or why it is important. The adrenal gland is responsible for producing cortisol, the main stress hormone in our body. Cortisol helps with waking us up in the morning and helps with creating a healthy stress response. Unfortunately, people have too much stress. Like any organ in the body, when it is working too hard, it can wear out and become tired; hence, adrenal fatigue. There are different stages of adrenal fatigue and many signs and symptoms. For example, becoming tired after eating lunch or having trouble getting out of bed in the morning. Poor adrenal health can even influence blood sugar levels and sex hormones. Come learn more about adrenal fatigue and why it is important to maintain good adrenal health.
