The public is invited to a celebration of Proctor’s 2011-12 girls varsity hockey team on Saturday, December 8, at 4:30 PM. Led by MVP Breanna Davis of Andover, this team repeatedly overcame adversity to win. Down 4-1 in the New England Championship game against powerhouse Middlesex School (Massachusetts), they fought back to 4-3 in the final period. With 26 seconds remaining (and with the goalie pulled for an extra skater), Breanna scored the tying goal to send the game into overtime. With 2:19 left in OT, Proctor scored to become New England Champions!

The December 8 celebration will feature a banner-raising ceremony preceding a game against Kents Hill School (Maine). Come to Teddy Maloney ’88 Rink at 4:30 PM and join the fun!
