Classic Car Show at Fourth of July Seeks Entrants

Drawings and prizes, including a custom trophy

By Judy Perreault, Fourth of July Committee

The Andover Road Relics car club is planning a classic car show during Andover’s Fourth of July Celebration again this year. Bring your antiques, hot rods, sports, classics, or modern cars to the Pizza Chef parking lot on the Fourth of July.

Last year, there was a wide assortment of vehicles. The fun begins early and goes into the early afternoon. There will be drawings and prizes. Bill Keyser is making another trophy out of car parts. The trophies are truly works of art, and one of you may be the lucky winner.

If you wish to be judged in the parade’s vehicle category, you need to be at the Proctor Field House by 10:30 AM, or you may join the parade from the Pizza Chef parking lot. Either way, folks enjoy seeing your cars in the parade. Vehicles in the parade must have insurance.

The Andover Road Relics car club is entering its fourth year. Membership applications will be available at the show. For times and meeting places, call Jim Henderson at 735-5448.
