MVHS Program Helps Students Transition to Adulthood

Gain valuable work experience and self-confidence

Press release

Representatives of local businesses and area agencies that host work sites for students in transition attended an appreciation event at Merrimack Valley High School. Students transitioning into adulthood gain valuable work experience, self-confidence, and life skills at these work sites. Tia Hoyt and Kodiak Rickards of Andover were each involved in the program.

Students, parents, educators, and work site hosts met one another at the event, and MVHS expressed appreciation for the sites involved.

The following locations have provided work sites for MVHS students this school year:

  • Friends of Forgotten Children

  • Hannaford Supermarkets, Concord

  • Havenwood-Heritage Heights

  • MVHS Food Service

  • New Hampshire Audubon McLane Center

  • Osborne’s Agway, Concord
