Historical Society’s Old Time Fair is Coming August 3

New calendar for 2015 on sale at the Fourth

By Pat Cutter, Andover Historical Society

The fifth in a series of Andover Historical Society calendars, “East Andover Remembered”, will be for sale on the Village Green on the Fourth of July. This calendar has been made possible by the generosity of businesses and individuals who sponsored a month to defray printing costs. Locations and people in East Andover are featured, using both archival and recent photographs.

Another raffle basket is planned for this year, created again by Wanda Smith and filled with locally made handcrafts. Be sure to stop by our spot on the Village Green for your raffle tickets. They’re just $2 each or three for $5, or better yet, 10 for $15. Pick up your calendar at the same time and be sure to check out our publications on Andover history. The drawing for the raffle basket will be at the Old Time Fair on Sunday, August 3.

Old Time Fair

The Andover Historical Society’s annual fundraising event of the year, the Old Time Fair, comes to Potter Place on Sunday, August 3.
