An energetic and compassionate group of fifth grade students ran an animal food and toy drive at AE/MS. They collected lots of dog and cat food and some creative cat toys and will give everything to the Franklin Animal Shelter. The students made daily announcements on the intercom reminding students to bring in donations, and they often included animal “knock-knock” jokes, which the younger students really enjoyed.
