Andover Congregational Church Hosts “Bouncy House” on the Fourth

Alpha program starting up in the fall

By Sandy Miller, Andover Congregational Church

The Andover Congregational Church will once again have a space on the Village Green for Andover’s Fourth of July celebration. We plan to be located in the area of the Stone Chapel, so please look for us. We will be selling cotton candy for $2. We will also have water available for thirsty customers, including pets. Another attraction will be the “bouncy house,” which seems to be popular for the younger children.

There is no charge for the water or bouncy house, but donations will be gratefully accepted. All monies received will be donated to local food pantries; the Church’s Diaconate Fund, which helps needy families in the area; and the Wounded Warrior Project.

We will also have information available on the Alpha program – an 11-week class teaching the basics of Christianity which will be starting up again this fall in the Highland Lake Grange Hall next to the church. Brochures are available, plus anyone working at the booth will be able to give you further information.

In addition, if you are in need of prayer, someone there will be happy to pray with you.

We would also like to invite you to a worship service on Sundays at 9:30 AM. We are handicapped accessible, and childcare is available. We have a lot going on, so come and check us out some Sunday. We would love to share God’s word and fellowship with you.
