Another successful book sale on the Fourth

By Janet Moore, Library Trustee

In what has become an annual ritual, I will now give thanks to those who made the Fourth of July book sale a wildly successful event.

To Priscilla and all the other Poulins; Gail Fitzpatrick and Gary; Kathy Bennett and the Boy Scouts; Gail Richards; Shirley Currier; John Cotton; Sandra and all the other Graves; Deb Brower; Susan Chase; Anne Hewitt; and my sister and brother – many, many thanks.

The rain may have cancelled the parade and the flea market, but it had only a positive effect on the Libraries’ summer fundraiser.

Oops, I can’t forget Proctor Security for managing the Stone Chapel, and Hannaford’s for their generous bag donation.

Enjoy August with time outside and a few good books – your choice!
