From the important work of the US Army Signal Service in the 1870s to the modern-day weather broadcasts of the Mount Washington Observatory, this mountaintop post has witnessed a rapid evolution in how humans communicate with each other. Join us as Will Broussard, Outreach Coordinator at Mount Washington, delves into the history of communications as experienced atop Mt. Washington.
This event is made possible by a grant from the Nancy Sibley Wilkins Town of Warner Trust Fund, managed by the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, and is part of the 4th Phridays at the Phone Museum Series.
