The LRGHealthcare Board of Trustees announced today the retirement of Tom Clairmont, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of LRGHealthcare, after 25 years of leadership as chief executive and over 43 years of employment and dedicated service to the LRGHealthcare community.
“Tom Clairmont has provided decades of critical leadership and service to LRGHealthcare and his tenure will be looked back upon as one of innovation and fiscal responsibility. Tom has played a vital role in our evolution into the leading healthcare provider for the Lakes Region,” said Scott Clarenbach, Chairman of LRGHealthcare Board of Trustees.
In addition to his decades of leadership to LRGHealthcare, Mr. Clairmont broadened his service to several local and charitable boards, including the Caring Community Network of the Twin Rivers, Community Health and Hospice, Rural Health Coalition of New Hampshire, and the Taylor Community.
Mr. Clairmont has been the recipient of much recognition for his service, including the 1996 Jim Irwin Award for Community Service in the Lakes Region and being designated one of eight recipients of Business New Hampshire Magazine’s New Hampshire Leaders for the 21st Century for Health Care.
“The Board is grateful to Tom for the commitment he has shown to LRGHealthcare and the patients we serve, especially for the children and those less fortunate,” said Clarenbach. “I know the entire LRGHealthcare community joins me in thanking Tom and wishing him the very best in a well-deserved retirement.”
The LRGHeathcare Board of Trustees has voted to undertake a thorough search for the new President and Chief Executive Officer, and will be announcing transition plans in the coming days.
