On Monday afternoon, August 11, a vehicle traveling west on Main Street left the road just before Bridge Road and snapped off a fire hydrant. The Andover Fire Department, with the help of Kurt Meier and Garry George, was able to locate a shut-off valve and stop the flow of water.
