The Little Nature Museum Re-Opens in Warner

Across from the Mount Kearsarge Indian Museum

Press release

The Little Nature Museum, formerly located in Contoocook, recently reopened in a newly renovated barn across from the Mount Kearsarge Indian Museum in Warner. The Museum, now in its 59th year, had been closed since the fall of 2012 while it looked for a new location.

The Museum has more than twice the space it previously had. It continues to offer environmental exhibits, collections, and activities for adults and children.

Through the end of October, the Museum will be open from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM on Saturdays and noon to 4:30 PM on Sundays. Admission is free for the remainder of our season.

The Museum will be open for group visits of six or more during the week with an appointment at 746-6121. There is an admission charge for group visits.

The Medicine Woods Trail is directly behind the barn where we are located, providing an opportunity for a trail walk during your visit. Our new location is 18 Highlawn Road, Warner, across the parking lot from the Mount Kearsarge Indian Museum. For more information, visit LittleNatureMuseum.org or call 746-6121.
