The Wilmot Community Association (WCA) and the Wilmot Learning Place (WLP) will participate in a Thursday’s Child fund-raising event starting at 5:30 PM on Thursday, November 20, at the Coach House Restaurant at the New London Inn.
“With eight decades of affiliation, it is particularly appropriate that the WCA and the WLP collaborate on a fund-raising event such as Thursday’s Child at the Coach House Restaurant,” said Susan Nye, administrator of the WCA.
Those who want to support the WCA and the WLP should make reservations directly with the Coach House Restaurant. A portion of the net proceeds from meals purchased that evening by supporters of the WCA and the WLP will benefit the two non-profit organizations. Reservations are available at 526-2791.
“This event is a great opportunity for friends to get together for a fun and festive night out,” said Rosanna Dude, president of the WLP Board of Directors. “What a terrific way to benefit two wonderful organizations!”
“The Wilmot Leaning Place and the Wilmot Community Association not only share a building, but they also share the goal of creating a vibrant community,” said Ann Davis, president of the WCA Board of Directors.
