A Walk to Stop Alzheimer’s Disease

Through every state in the US

A group from Stop Alzheimer's Now started walking the 58-mile length of the Northern Rail Trail, from Boscawen to Lebanon, on October 7 as part of a series of walks to simulate a 3,652-mile coast-to-coast hike across the US. The group hopes to raise awareness about Alzheimer's Disease and how exercise helps to prevent the disease. The walks started in 2013; New Hampshire is the fourth walk so far. The group plans to walk 100 to 150 miles every three months for the next six or seven years, passing through every state in the US. For more information or to donate, visit StopAlzheimersNow.org.
