During the last session we passed a bipartisan, balanced, and responsible budget without new taxes. It restored funding for higher education, community-based mental health services, and additional state troopers.
We also achieved bipartisan agreement on the New Hampshire Health Protection Act which improved access for New Hampshire’s working poor and addressed the rising costs of health insurance.
I was focused on improving New Hampshire’s economy by successfully co-sponsoring bills increasing R&D tax credits, reinvesting in New Hampshire roads and bridges, updating New Hampshire’s business laws, and eliminating red tape throughout state government.
In the next session, I will focus on passing a balanced, fiscally-responsible budget without an income or sales tax.
I will continue my work on strengthening our economy by reducing red tape in government and continuing prudent investments in our roads, bridges, electric grid, and expanding broadband Internet access.
I will also focus on restoring local aid and work to prevent any additional downshifting of state costs onto the tax bills of property owners.
I value serving the people of District 7. My professional experience has taught me the value of focusing on achieving results and leaving politics for others. I will prioritize building a strong economy by working with Republicans and Democrats. Economic strength is built on quality education, a solid infrastructure, and a responsive and transparent government.
The goal of my service is to leave my four children a New Hampshire rich in opportunity and a place we are all proud to call home.
