Charleen Shank, 75, of Northfield went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 after a period of declining health. Charleen was born in Franklin and lived most all of her life in Andover.

Charleen was preceded by her parents Edward and Katherine Barton of Andover. She leaves behind two daughters, Jody Young of Belmont and Cathy Ellis of Andover, and sons-in-law Jim Young and Chuck Ellis. She also leaves seven grandchildren: Samantha Pelletier, Felicia Chapman, Adam Ellis, Brooke Ellis, and Patrick, Monica, and Melany Young. She also leaves three great-grandchildren, Emit, Ophelia, and Caper Pelletier, as well as nine brothers and sisters and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was a member of Calvary Independent Baptist Church of Tilton for 28 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed making jigsaw puzzles.

A service will be held at the Calvary Independent Baptist Church on School Street in Tilton on Saturday, November 15, at 11 AM, with burial in Proctor Cemetery in Andover following the service.
