The restoration project on the Andover Congregational Church has been completed. A big thank you to all the volunteers from the Andover Church and the community who worked on the project. The volunteers who helped on the Bell Cradle and Steeple restoration project were: John Bourdon (lead), Joyce Bourdon, Greg Bourdon, Gary Cassidy, Jim Emerson, Jim Goody, Howard Proctor, Pete Smith, and Josh Wagner.

The Bell Cradle was rebuilt and covered with white plastic flashing to keep it dry from the harsh weather. The top of the railings and spires were replaced with a PVC product. The Bell Cradle area and railings were painted. The Steeple roof was re-shingled, and the steeple was covered with ice and water shield and then with a PVC product. The new railings and spires around the Steeple are all made of PVC which should last for a very long time with minimal repairs needed.

What a great community we have for people to come together and give their time and talents to help each other. Thank you!
