Adrien E. Mailhot, 94, of Manchester passed away on October 25, 2014, at the New Hampshire Veteran’s Home in Tilton.
Adrien enjoyed playing cards, fishing, and playing the slot machines at Foxwoods. He was known as the best-dressed pool player around the city. He also enjoyed riding around in his golf cart, but most of all he just enjoyed spending time with his family.
Adrien was a lifetime member of the Alpine Club and also a member of the DAV, American Legion, Canadian Club, Lafayette Club, and Mont Calm. He proudly served his country as a US Army veteran of World War II. He was also a Teamsters Union Local 633 truck driver.
He was the beloved husband of the late Rita N. (Chaput) Mailhot, loving father of Fernand L. Mailhot of Manchester, Lorraine R. Petit and her husband Normand of Manchaester, Raymond R. Mailhot of Fort Myers, Florida, Doris T. Abair and her husband Philip of Andover, Richard P. Mailhot and his wife Ellie of Manchester, Joyce A. West and her late husband Richard of Barrington, and the late Roger C. Mailhot and Dennis E. Mailhot. He was father-in-law of Frances Mailhot of Manchester (Roger’s wife), dear brother of Jeanette Laquerre of Maine, and nephew of Dorothy E. Mailhot of Manchester. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Calling hours were held at Phaneuf Funeral Home in Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in Ste. Marie Church in Manchester. Interment followed with Military Honors in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
