You are invited to join an interesting assortment of like-minded Andover neighbors for a potluck lunch and discussion on Saturday, January 10, at the Highland Lake Grange Hall, in East Andover, from noon to 2:30 PM
Through our interactions, we know that each of you has a passion and/or a talent for community building, local food/permaculture, energy conservation/renewables, skill/time sharing, service work and more. Our intent with this gathering is to begin to identify and explore a collective vision for how to continue to bring some of those ideas to life here in town and beyond.
So, if you are willing and able to join us on Saturday, we hope that in addition to bringing a potluck dish to share, you’ll also come ready to share your particular thoughts about how we might build a more connected, resilient, and sustainable community here in Andover. To keep things simple and reduce waste we would ask that you each bring a zero-waste potluck kit for your own use, including: reusable bowl/plate, napkin, utensils and a cup.
We include a draft agenda below, so you know what you’re getting into!
noon to12:30 PM Potluck & Socializing
12:30 PM to 12:40 PM Not-so-formal introductions
1 2:40 PM to 12:45 PM Background, Current Assets & (Possible) Future
12:45 PM to 1:45 PM Brainstorming & Community Vision Conversation

Please call or e-mail us with any questions you might have! We will look forward to seeing you soon. And, if you know of other neighbors who might enjoy being part of this conversation, feel free to invite them as well.
