Emily Cleaveland, “The Dahlia Lady,” will present “Dazzling Dahlias” from 1:30 to 3 PM on Sunday, February 15, at the Wilmot Community Association’s (WCA) Red Barn, 64 Village Road, Wilmot Flat.

The WCA and the Wilmot Garden Club are sponsoring this free program. Cleaveland, a resident of Springfield and owner of By Design Dahlias, has raised dahlias for 16 years. She will share her love for these beautiful flowers with an informative, illustrated program.

“By February, I think all gardeners are ready for a splash of color,” said Lindy Heim, garden club representative. “Summer of 2014 was a great year for dahlias, so I know Emily’s program will feature lots of stunning photos.”

Gift certificates, donated by Cleaveland, for cut flowers or tubers in season, will be awarded as door prizes at the end of the program.

Refreshments will be served.

The WCA, a not-for-profit organization, provides the facilities for social, recreational and educational activities in Wilmot. It owns and operates the Red Barn, a community center on Village Road, and Timothy Patten Park, a beach and playground on Shindagan Road in Wilmot.
