Happy New Year, everyone. The children are happy to see snow on the ground. Outside time is more enjoyable when we add sledding into the mix.

We started the New Year off with a lot of new and exciting toys and games. The children enjoyed opening new items (paid for by our annual fundraiser) before we left for December break. They always look forward to coming back, so they can open and play with all the new toys.

Some of the favorites include walkie-talkies, Hungry Hungry Hippo, and a race track. We also have been enjoying window writing with new window markers and making snowmen and snowflakes.

Ski day was a huge success and went smoothly. The kids that choose not to ski are enjoying popcorn and hot cocoa on Friday afternoons.

Mrs. Jacobs is settling in wonderfully, and the children are enjoying having her here. She has worked at AE/MS for a couple of years and fits in over here just fine.
