The bandstand on the Wilmot Village Green may be buried with snow, but the board of directors of the Wilmot Farmers Market is planning that the snow will eventually melt and be replaced with green grass by opening day. Opening day is Saturday, June 27, and the market will run every Saturday through September.
The board has sent out applications and has asked for returning vendors to apply by Sunday, March 1.
The musicians are almost all booked, with music sponsors still needed. The donation is $50 per market, with sponsors being included in the Kearsarge Shopper ad and on the market’s Web site.
The board hopes to have the market’s annual Children’s Day continue and is asking for someone to come forward to help organize the Saturday, July 18 event.
Throughout the season, events are planned at the education tent. If you have a talent, hobby, or business that you would like to share or teach to others, please let us know.
There are openings for full-time vendors at the market for the 2015 season. Another option is that of being a part-time vendor, which requires a commitment to at least three markets. Interested applicants may get the application at WilmotFarmersMarket.com.
