The next Senior Luncheon at the Wilmot Community Association’s (WCA) Red Barn will begin at noon on Thursday, March 19. The Wilmot Ladies Aid Society sponsors these popular social events in conjunction with the WCA and CAP in Concord, which provides food and support services for seniors in Merrimack County.
Kathy Lowe will entertain after lunch. Kathy was born in Sutton of circus and vaudeville stock and raised under the influence of songwriting, showmanship, stage production, and slapstick. She has recorded eight albums of original music and lives in New London.
Please call Margaret Doody at 768-3805 a week prior to the luncheon to reserve your place.
A $2 donation is suggested for the meal and a $3 donation for the WCA, for a total of $5. For those attending who are under 60 years of age, the suggested donation for CAP is $6 and $3 for the WCA.
In the event of a weather cancellation, organizers will follow Kearsarge Regional School’s lead. Additionally, every effort will be made to call those who signed up. It is suggested that folks use their best judgment about coming out in bad weather.
Please call Margaret if you find that you are unable to attend as late as noon the day before the luncheon, so that food is not wasted.
Parking is available in any of the three Presbyterian Church lots across the street, or in front of the WCA in the upper lot. Street parking is also available where posted on Village and Campground Roads.
See you there!
