To save on printing costs, we decided not to run The Rest of the Town Report in the printed copy of The Andover Beacon this year. That section was a place where many important local organizations that serve our community but aren’t covered in the annual Andover Town Report reported to the community on their activities in the prior year.

We still think The Rest of the Town Report is very important, but the Beacon’s financial and volunteer resources are too strained to continue doing it in print.

However, if one or more volunteers will come forward to help, we’d be happy to create a new section on AndoverBeacon.com that could be a permanent “home” for all of our important community organizations.
