Wilmot Senior Luncheon Set for April 16

Reserve your place at the last one until fall

Press release

The next Senior Luncheon, and the last one of the spring season, is scheduled to take place at the Wilmot Community Association’s (WCA) Red Barn at noon on Thursday, April 16.

The Wilmot Ladies Aid Society sponsors these popular social events in conjunction with the WCA and CAP in Concord, which provides food and support services for seniors in Merrimack County.

Wilmot residents Bill Doody and Bill Burris will entertain after lunch by performing their famous vaudeville skit, How Hot Was It? Fresh flower table arrangements and door prizes will be given away to attendees.

Don’t miss this chance to enjoy a hot midday lunch with friends at the lovely WCA Red Barn in Wilmot Flat. A $2 donation is suggested for the meal and a $3 donation for the WCA, for a total of $5. For those attending who are under 60 years of age, the suggested donation for CAP is $6 and $3 for the WCA.

Parking is available in any of the three Baptist Church lots across the street or in the upper lot in front of the entrance to the WCA. Street parking is also available where posted  on Village and Campground Roads.

After a summer break, luncheons will resume in September, at a new time and on a new day. Starting this September, senior luncheons will begin at 11:30 AM on the third Wednesday of the month.

Please call Margaret at 768-3805 at least a week before the luncheon to reserve your place. See you there!
