New Hampshire’s own Recycled Percussion will “Junk Rock” the Flying Monkey on Friday, December 28. The Flying Monkey is excited to welcome back the band that brought the terms “power-percussion” and “junk rock” into mainstream music. New Hampshire’s own Recycled Percussion will perform two special holiday shows on Friday, December 28 – a matinee performance at 2:30 PM and an evening performance at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $29.
This year features an entirely new show that sets the standard for high-energy, powerhouse drumming. The group’s signature performances set the beat on discarded industrial junk, power tools, and a barrage of buckets and metal cans, and, together with daring showmanship and acrobatics on tall ladders, break-dancing, spectacular spark showers in the background, and crowd participation, they achieve nothing short of on-stage magic.
The Manchester boys gained notoriety after a spectacular showing on America’s Got Talent which eventually led to their own ongoing show at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas!
Their Web site states, “the combination of power-percussion and hip-hop melodies drives the momentum of what is called the most ballistic live music show of the decade.”
Tickets for both shows are $29. Doors for the matinee performance open at 1:30 PM, and the Flying Monkey is offering sandwiches, healthy snacks, and concessions. Doors for the evening performance open at 6 PM, when guests can pop in for dinner before the show.
