Plans are underway for the 11th annual Choose Franklin Community Day, sponsored by Franklin Regional Hospital (LRGHealthcare) and Franklin Savings Bank, which will be held on Saturday, May 9, at Odell Park in Franklin.
The event will begin with a parade at 10 AM ,which will step off at Franklin High School and proceed easterly to downtown, turning on Smith Street, and ending at Odell Park. This year’s theme is “Franklin for a Lifetime.”
A fair will be held at the park from 10 AM to 2 PM and will include vendors, crafts, food, games, amusements, and entertainment. There will be a performance by the Flying Frisbee Dogs at 12:30 PM and a 1:15 PM show by Marko the Magician, sponsored by the Franklin Public Library.
