A presentation on buying and producing good quality hay is being held at the  Boscawen Municipal Complex, fourth floor, 116 North Main Street, Boscawen, adjacent to Alan’s Restaurant, on Monday, May 4, at 6:30 PM. John C. Porter, UNH Cooperative Extension Professor/Specialist Emeritus, is the program presenter.

Buying or producing good quality hay is an art and a science. Livestock need hay, which is nutritious for growth and production, and good quality hay will reduce the amount of grain that needs to be supplemented. Come listen to expert John Porter, and learn the tricks to the trade in producing good hay.
