Members present: Dan Coolidge; Julia Rector; Jeff Newcomb; and Charlie McCrave, alternate.
Also present for duration of appropriate item: Jerry Hersey and Jim Hersey
Continuance of Public Hearing: A request from Gerald Hersey for a variance to permit a lot with less than the required 250′ of road frontage on a Town road. The property is in the Rural/Agricultural District.
The Board conducted a site visit on May 25. The easement document was distributed to Board members.
Coolidge advised that he had met with the Planning Board on May 26, and it was agreed that the proposal would not be contrary to the ordinance based on the fact that the lot has 560 total feet of road frontage; other than the single lot that is allowed, any future development is not allowed; and the Town voted for and accepted the easement.
The criteria for the variance was reviewed by the Board. The Board voted unanimously to grant the variance.
