ASLPT Hosts Three Events in July and August

Two dragonfly walks this summer

Press release

LeBaron-Brewer Hike in Danbury: Thursday, July 9, 3 to 5 PM. This hike, led by ASLPT Land Protection Specialist Andy Deegan, will cross through the 159-acre LeBaron-Brewer property and skirt beautiful Waukeena Lake.

The property protects important wildlife habitat for the loons on Waukeena Lake and abundant moose that have been sighted on the property. Maybe we’ll be lucky and see them today. We’ll provide specific directions to the meeting area when participants RSVP by contacting the ASLPT office at 526-6555 or info@nullAusbonSargent.org.

Dragonfly Walk and Exploration in Bradford: Tuesday, July 28, (rain date is Friday, July 31) 2 to 4 PM. Join ASLPT Land Protection Specialist Andy Deegan and his wife Carrie of the Society for Protection of New Hampshire Forests to learn more about dragonflies and damselflies and their significance in nature. The event will take place on the Blitzer property in Bradford.

This is always a great adventure for adults and children as you’ll net, identify, and release a variety of dragonflies. We’ll provide specific directions to the meeting area when participants RSVP by contacting the ASLPT office at 526-6555 or info@nullAusbonSargent.org. This event is limited to 25, with no walk-ins, so please register early.

Dragonfly Walk and Exploration in Sutton: Wednesday, August 5, (rain date is Friday, August 7) 2 to 4 PM.
