Mother Nature did some rough trimming around Andover during the violent thunderstorms on Sunday night, July 19. In this picture from Monday morning, Keith Blinn and Jim Reed, Andover's new part-time Town maintenance crew, cleaned up a cluster of red maples that uprooted on the shore of Highland Lake at the Town Beach. The maintenance crew and the road crew dealt with many more downed limbs and trees around town, including a big sugar maple at Proctor Cemetery and a big hemlock on River's Edge Road.
