We are just full up in the next month, and we hope you can join us in three brand new programs.
For the young families, we are instituting “Read 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten,” Andover’s version of a new national program designed to get the little ones into books. Read the first 100 and come in to claim your reading bag.
“Crafts and Camaraderie” will run for three second-Mondays on October 12, November 9, and December 14. Bring a friend, and share the good times. The program will begin at 7 PM, and remember, it’s for grown-ups only.
“Paws for Reading” begins on Wednesday, October 21. Come share a story with one of Dee Ganley’s wonderful dogs. You may set up an appointment for 15 minutes between 6:30 and 7:30 PM and enjoy the furry comfort of an attentive beast. Sign up at the Andover Library.
Finally, Tom Vaughn’s new book, The Other Side of Loss, has sparked a group read in the new year. He resides in England and in Wilmot, and we intend to snag him for an author visit when he’s on this side of the ocean. Check out his book now!
