Wilmot Historical Society Hosts “Memories of Old Wilmot”

Walter Walker to present his new book

Press release

Don’t miss the Wilmot Historical Society’s (WHS) annual meeting and cracker barrel program, “Memories of Old Wilmot,” from 1 to 3 PM on Sunday, November 1, at the WCA’s Red Barn next to the Wilmot Post Office at 64 Village Road in Wilmot Flat.

WHS board member and history buff Fred Ogmundson will host the program and introduce the presenters, including Betsy Forsham, who will speak about her family connections to Wilmot through the Goodhues, Campbells, and Forshams. We will also view artifacts and photos from the Forsham family collection.

Long-time Wilmot resident Walter Walker will present his recently published book, History of Wilmot, New Hampshire via black and white photos and brief descriptions.

Be sure to join your friends and neighbors for an interesting and informative Sunday afternoon walking down memory lane and recalling times past. If you have any questions, please contact Marc Davis at 927-4596. The event is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be served.
