Shawna Barton, daughter of Jeff and Tina Barton of Andover, was married to Jacob Otis, son of Steve and Cindy DelBene of Boscawen. The nuptials took place in Salisbury on October 3.

Shawna is a lifelong Andover resident and graduated from Merrimack Valley High School in 2011. She graduated from Colby-Sawyer College this May with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She took a little break for wedding activities; but is going to continue her studies towards a Master’s Degree. At this time, Shawna is the General Manager in Training for her family’s Subway restaurants and also a Manager for one of them. Shawna also works at the Andover After School Program and volunteers at the school for different events.

Jacob graduated from Merrimack Valley High School in 2010. He studied Fire Science at the Laconia Technical Institute. He is a volunteer fire fighter for Boscawen, Andover, and Lieutenant for the Salisbury Fire Department. He has worked the last several years for Weaver Brother’s Construction and recently started working for JP Pest Services, Wildlife Division.

The couple will continue to reside in Andover.
