Marj Roy’s granddaughter, Ava Cote, reads to Dee Ganley’s dog, Flip, at the Andover Library during the library’s monthly Reading Education Assistance Dogs (READ) program. READ is a literacy program built around reading to dogs. According to ReadDogsMN.org, when a READ dog is listening, the environment is transformed.
