Two local moms, Heather Rogers and Traci Fowler, and Gail Fitzpatrick of the Bachelder Library are pleased to announce two new opportunities for toddlers and their caregivers at the library. Both activities take place at the Bachelder Library on Chase Hill Road in East Andover.
Story Time for Toddlers takes place on Thursday afternoons from 3:30 to 4 PM. Toddlers must attend with a parent or caregiver. Bachelder librarian Gail Fitzpatrick reads stories and sings songs with the little ones. It’s lots of fun!
Play Group for Toddlers/Preschoolers takes place on Saturday mornings from 9:30 to 11 AM. Toddlers and preschoolers must attend with a parent or caregiver. The Play Group meets in the lower level of the library. No structured activities are planned at the moment – just lots of playing, listening to music, some sporadic dancing (when the mood strikes), etc. However, we hope to incorporate craft activities in the near future once we can garner some supplies and a small table.
There are currently two to three toddlers who attend the Story Hour and Play Group on a regular basis, and we’d love to have a few more join the fun. If you have any questions, please call the library at 735-5333, or Heather Rogers at 735-5255.
Got stuff? We are seeking donations for the Play Group. If you have any of the following items, please contact Traci Fowler at 735-6449:
- Craft supplies
- Gently used toys (no small pieces, no stuffed animals)
- Child-sized table and chairs
We hope to see you and your little one(s)!
