Famous Christmas Pageant in South Danbury on December 21

Featured in Donald Hall's "Lucy's Christmas"

Press release

In November 2012, Yankee magazine published a story about the Christmas Pageant put on at the South Danbury Christian Church that had been written about by Donald Hall in his children’s book Lucy’s Christmas. During “the season of light and promise,” the article said, this pageant has become “enshrined as a community event.” As it is still today.

You can expect music and song from young and old, special performances, delicious snacks, and maybe — if we’ve all been good — a visit from Santa. The Pageant will be held on Monday, December 21, at 7 PM, with December 22 as the snow date, and all are welcome. For more information, call 768-3191.
