Andover’s American Legion Crosby-Gilbert Post 101 has been contacted by Honor Flight New England of Hooksett to disseminate information regarding a trip to Washington DC for World War II and Korean War veterans.

This is a one-day trip to visit and reflect at the memorials that were built in Washington DC in their honor. Since June of 1999, Honor Flight has made this dream come true for over 1,300 veterans. The trip is completely free to the veterans – they have already paid the price through the sacrifices they made so many years ago.

If you know of any World War II or Korean War veterans in Andover or surrounding towns who have not yet made an Honor Flight New England trip, please encourage them to apply.
